[ventilationVest] selected for evaluation in study for the U.S. Army

The Institute for Environmental Research at Kansas State University is evaluating the cooling effectiveness of different personal cooling systems. This project is sponsored by the U.S. Army. The researchers used a sweating thermal manikin to measure the cooling effectiveness of different cooling systems worn with the Army combat uniform and body armor.  Based on those results, the Entrak [ventilation vest] was selected for further study using human subjects (soldiers) exercising in hot environmental conditions.
